Did you know you are a big deal?
Not only are you are big deal, but you are really important!
Like, how amazing is that?
[Psalm 139:14 NLT] 14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous--how well I know it.
Ok, I see you rolling your eyes!
You don’t believe me, huh?
Maybe you’re looking at your life and at circumstances that may not seem to be going right. Trust me I understand, but one thing I can tell you is that everything is not what it seems. Especially, when you allow yourself to see beyond what going on in your life now.
Oh, you’re asking: “How can I look beyond my situations when it’s consuming me with worry, fear, hopelessness, doubt, and even anger?”
Well, I got time today, so I will tell you the answer, it’s FAITH!!!!
This is what God’s word (The Bible) tells us “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. [Hebrew 11:1 (KJV)]
Now, I bet you’re asking yourself, how I can believe in something I can not see? Well, you believe that oxygen exists right? You don’t walk around wondering if your next breath will be your last, you breathe with certainty that each inhales and exhales will happen. As a matter of fact, you don’t worry about breathing...YOU JUST DO IT.
Have you gotten the aha moment yet?
Let’s go a little deeper. (I told you I got time today!)
In the New Living Translation of Hebrews 11:1, it says: “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”
Confidence and assurance also mean certainty and truth.
Are you still here with me?
So ask yourself why don’t you believe what God has written in his word about you:
What lies have been told?
What are you choosing to believe about your circumstances?
Why are you not confident?
Why are you living in doubt and uncertainty?
In these questions, lies the answers you need to undo what has been done to bringing you closer to the life God has for you.
Having faith and choosing to believe God is a decision.
So decide today to Accept Christ Jesus as your Lord & Saviour, Accept him into your heart. If you have already accepted Christ Jesus, then I encourage you to go deeper and develop your own personal relationship with him.
