Press and Perfect

work·man·ship ˈwərkmənˌSHip/Submit noun the degree of skill with which a product is made or a job done.

crafts·man·ship

ˈkraf(t)smənˌSHip/

noun

skill in a particular craft.

Far too often we become caught up in how much work we have to do and how little time we have to do it.When the key is to focus on the end results and work backwards… what I mean by that is: In order to not become overwhelmed with everything that goes into making your goals happen, think of the Greater Purpose.

Luke 16:10 New Living Translation (NLT)10 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.

For Instance: If your dream is to become a globally renowned motivational speaker, the realization is that in order for that to happen, you have to start locally putting in the work. You would need make a name for yourself and build a following  and put yourself out there.

TAKE THE TIME and EFFORT TO

PERFECT YOUR CRAFT!!

You do yourself such a disservice by trying to shortcut your way through. You end up short changing your abilities and ultimately your dreams.

You can’t ask God for something and then complain about how much work it takes.

With every diligent effort..each faithful step and daily moments you invest in your craft…you are putting in that work that will elevate you to the next level…..

Matthew 25:21 New Living Translation (NLT)21 “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!

Now let’s talk about one of God’s favorite thing (in my opinion), next to Faith and Obedience…PRESSING!

The reason I believe it to be of such importance to God because out of your pressing comes the GREATER. When you press, you are acting in obedience and faith to God’s word. When you press forward in spite of how you feel or what circumstances look like…you show God you trust him at his word. And there nothing more that pleases God, than to know his children trust him.

Philippians 3:14 New Living Translation (NLT)14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

To often we give up before the race has even begun, we count ourselves out and go sit on the sidelines.

And for what???

Because no one else in your family has done IT!

Because of your past?

Oh, let me guess, you didn’t finish college, no money and you are too old?

There too many excuses out there, but way more opportunities to be had, if you just PRESS.

When you press you apply pressure to your situation, causing it to give way and make room for that GREATER.

So PRESS and PERFECT

And Never Give Up, Because me and God are rooting for you!!!
