The Freedom of Being You!

The Freedom of Being You.......Ohhhhhhh...What a beautiful thing it is to be able to live your life as the carefree child of greatness you are. You know what that entitles.....not caring about what others think of you and living your life how God intended you to live: Healed, Whole, and Happy.
GUESS WHAT....you were put on this earth to be the best and the greatest version of YOU!
You have a mind of your own with working brain cells that should lead to making healthy decisions on your own that will elevate your life on some substantial level. You stunt your growth by waiting on the approval of others or trying to mimic those around you.
“Live and Let Live....” is a statement used frequently, but I feel is not completely understood. I honestly believe that in order to truly live, we must first learn to love ourselves, then others. Learning to love ourselves also comes by way of loving God. [[1 John 4:19 KJV] 19 We love him because he first loved us.], but then how can some of us love ourselves or God when we don’t understand truly who God is? {That’s something to think about} You come to know God by reading & studying his word, also by spending time with him in daily communication:l prayers, praise & worship. We often know God by way of what others have shown or told us and quite often that second-hand knowledge is wrong! Get to know God for yourself!!!
Here is another food for thought, we must stop looking to fix, change, judge, or control others and start working on our own inner healing. First of all, we should not be changing something we did not create, God created us so he has the authority to change us according to “His Perfect Will”. What we can focus on is our mindset and shifting the thoughts that go against what God has said about us. [Romans 12:2 KJV] 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
We do ourselves and our creator a grave injustice attempting to be someone we are not and doing things that do not make us happy or whole just to fit in or be liked. The most important thing you should understand and accept is that if anyone can not like you as you are, then they should not be allowed into your personal space. The energy that you want around you should be conducive to who you are through and through.
Here are some “Knowledge Nuggets” to think about:
Before we fix up our outer selves, we must love inward first. Yet, how can we love inward, if we don’t even like what we see?
The clouded viewpoint of yourself is because you are looking through the lenses of unhealed hurt.
Moment of Transparency: When I stopped searching for better outside of myself, God started to show me how great I really am. And I operate in that greatness every day.
What do I mean by “searching for better outside of myself”- My relationships (or lack there), My drinking, My activities, and Even the clothes I wore were a reflection of a “girl with a lost identity”
I slept with individuals that I didn’t love or even like for that matter to take back what was taken from me as a child (my virtue and innocents)
I consumed large amounts of alcohol whenever I was in social settings to seemingly have the courage to be bolder because I had social anxiety
I wore baggy clothes to cover my body, which I didn’t like at ALL because I was sexually abused and assaulted during my childhood
So, let me remind you again that the Freedom of Being of You is a beautiful experience!
When was the last time you felt Happy, Healed, and Whole?

It is time to take that step into your Healing Journey.
