Moving In More

Today I write about moving in that “more”.  What does that look like?

It looks like getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.

It often feels unfamiliar.

It will cause you second guess everything.

But it is necessary for you to not to give in to your feelings and not give up because you feel uncomfortable.

God wants to do more with you, in you, and through you, but he has to move you from the place of contentment and comfort to discipline and structure. In this place, you will often feel chastised, and it may even feel like punishment, but I promise you it’s not. It’s our loving Father, pushing you out of the nest so that you can use your wings he has given you to fly. To soar past the limitations you have put on yourself, through the fear and beyond the trauma into a life that is filled with complete healing, freedom and wholeness. A life that is peaceful, abundant, and Holy. Now the details of that life are different from person to person, based on the way God has designed you. But overall, it is something many people spend their entire lifetimes searching for and never find, because it cannot be found outside of Christ.

You can have ALL the money in the world, you can travel to the most amazing places, have success, influence, power, and fame, and still want more. Why, because ALL those things will never fill the void that is left in your soul from the unhealed traumas you’ve experienced in your life.

You see, being hurt at the deepest level of our being requires a specialized physician to help us heal, and his name is JESUS!

So, I want to encourage those of you who don’t know Jesus to get to know him for yourself. Also accept Christ as your Lord and Savior by praying this simple prayer:

I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died and rose again for me. I confess with my heart and mouth, and I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.

Start reading the Bible for yourself, find a community of believers who can walk with you on your journey, and spend time in prayer. There is “More” in him that is better than anything or anyone that this world has to offer.

For those who know Jesus, I want to encourage you to trust the process he’s taking you through as you walk into your more.

I am changing the narrative of those who have experienced abuse and trauma, from one of Shame, Stigma, and silence to Support and Solutions, from hopelessness and rejection to HEALING and RECOVERY by creating inspirational content designed to be used as accountability tools, resources, and solutions in the healing process to move beyond trauma and into living.
